The Fund awards more than 200 college scholarships to outstanding public high school graduates every year.  Each award totals $5,000 ($1,250 a year for 4 years of college) and are given to students who will be attending an accredited public or private college or university. Through a collaborative partnership with UNCF, Intel Corporation has established a scholarship program that helps ensure educational access and the reduction of the financial burden of attending college for talented students in need. In addition, UNCF works with Intel to identify qualified scholarship recipients who could potentially become future interns at Intel. •        Apply for a full scholarship to The Cooper Union Outreach Pre-College Art Program Spring 2015 – (http://goo.gl/qCNO1z) – February 6 (New!)

This scholarship is open to high school juniors or seniors in the New York City area interested in preparing a portfolio of artwork for college. They must apply online and attend the portfolio review on September 19 from 10am–2pm at 41 Cooper Square (at East 7th Street and 3rd Avenue) Room 101. Students must bring samples of the artwork that best represents their abilities, motivation, and interests. The Harry Bartel Memorial Scholarship Fund is an endowed fund that was created in memory of Harry Bartel. Who is eligible? LGBTQ students, 23 years or younger, who are actively involved in the Center Youth program at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center in Manhattan. How can I apply? Each year the Fund awards scholarships through the Center Youth program at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center in Manhattan. •        The Kaplan DREAMers Education Initiative

The Kaplan DREAMers Education Initiative enables highly motivated, young undocumented students to enroll in online career-focused associate's and bachelor's degree programs at Kaplan University. DREAMers have options - they can apply for TheDream.US scholarship to enroll at Kaplan University, among other Partner Colleges of TheDream.US. These scholarships are provided by either foundations, organizations, or individual donors who believe that all students should have the opportunity to compete for resources that would make their educational dreams a reality.

 

College Goal New York – FAFSA Completion Events – (https://collegegoalny.org/)

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now officially open online. Many students and parents will find the task of applying for financial aid both daunting and frustrating. Luckily, New York State College Goal New York - FAFSA Completion Events are now accepting online registration for the NYC area events, which will take place during January & February. Each FAFSA Completion Event will have “In-depth FAFSA Experts” on hand to provide line-by-line assistance with the online application process. After successfully completing an online FAFSA & TAP application, students will be eligible to apply for $ 500.00 College Access Challenge Grant at the FAFSA Completion Event.
